not all portrayals of violence are bad, the government would have insurmountable difficulty defining what is "good" violence and "bad" violence. Too much regulation of people will cause more harm than good. In the past, many believed that the government needed to act as a surrogate for parents, whose only technological control was the off button. The government aren't needed to regulate the television cable industry. Juan is gay and he is gay all the way. Most kids have, and thats increasingly where they watch TV shows today.
Washington, when is a cuss word broadcast over television or radio indecent? And if a child accidently sees one of these scenes its consequences could be terrible for the child, so I do believe that better safe guards could be put in place and that tv could be toned down a bit.
Many shows like South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons, and The Cleveland Show have bad stuff like language and more. Cable television is like a scam. But what about the monkey see, monkey do argument that violent television is spawning a generation magus of Strovolos of aggressive kids? Why should it cost 100 plus to watch tv?
